LJUBLJANA, Sep. 9, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated Israel by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Monday night at the Stozice Stadium in Ljubljana.
The result put the Slovenians second in Group G with 11 points. Israel is fourth with 8 points. In their next game, Slovenia will meet Macedonia at the Stozice Stadium on October 10, while Israel will face Austria.
