REYKJAVíK, Jun. 11, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Iceland defeated Turkey by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Euro group stage game on Tuesday night at the Laugardalsvöllur in Reykjavík.
The result put the Turk second in Group H with 9 points. Iceland is third with 9 points. In their next game, Turkey will meet Andorra at the Laugardalsvöllur on September 7, while Iceland will face Moldova.
