REYKJAVíK, Sep. 7, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Iceland defeated Moldova by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Saturday night at the Laugardalsvöllur in Reykjavík.
The result put the Icelander top of Group H with 12 points. Moldova is 5th with 3 points. In their next game, Iceland will meet Albania at the Laugardalsvöllur on September 10, while Moldova will face Turkey.
