ELBASAN, Sep. 10, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Albania defeated Iceland by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Tuesday night at the Elbasan Arena.
The result put the Icelander third in Group H with 12 points. Albania is fourth with 9 points. In their next game, Iceland will meet group leaders France at the Elbasan Arena on October 11, while Albania will face Turkey.
