REYKJAVíK, Oct. 11, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : France defeated Iceland by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Euro group stage game on Friday night at the Laugardalsvöllur in Reykjavík.
The result put the French top of Group H with 18 points. Iceland is third with 12 points. In their next game, France will meet second-placed Turkey at the Laugardalsvöllur on October 14, while Iceland will face Andorra.
