NIZHNY NOVGOROD, Jun. 11, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Russia defeated Cyprus by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Tuesday night at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.
The result put the Russians second in Group I with 9 points. Cyprus is 5th with 3 points. In their next game, Russia will meet Scotland at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium on September 6, while Cyprus will face Kazakhstan.
