ASTANA, Oct. 10, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Cyprus defeated Kazakhstan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a Euro group stage game on Thursday afternoon at the Astana Arena.
The result put the Cypriot third in Group I with 10 points. Kazakhstan is fourth with 7 points. In their next game, Cyprus will meet second-placed Russia at the Astana Arena on October 13, while Kazakhstan will face Belgium.
