YEREVAN, Sep. 5, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Italy defeated Armenia by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Euro group stage game on Thursday night at the Republican Stadium in Yerevan.
The result put the Italians top of Group J with 15 points. Armenia is third with 6 points. In their next game, Italy will meet second-placed Finland at the Republican Stadium on September 8, while Armenia will face Bosnia and Herzegovina.
