Europa League 2014-15 : Everton defeats Dynamo Kiev 2-1

LIVERPOOL, Mar. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Everton defeated Dynamo Kiev by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the first leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at Goodison Park in Liverpool.

Gusev opened the score in the 14th minute, before seeing Everton catch up in the 39th minute thanks to Steven Naismith. 1-1 at half time. The Toffees eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Lukaku on penalty with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The second leg between Everton and Dynamo Kiev will be played on Thursday March 19, 2015 (kick-off: 19:00) in Kiev.
