Europa League 2014-15 : Fiorentina draw 1-1 with Roma

FLORENCE, Mar. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Fiorentina tied 1-1 with AS Roma (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence.

Fiorentina players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Slovenian midfielder Josip Iličić in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by AS Roma with a saving goal from Malian midfielder Seydou Keita in the 77th minute.

The second leg between Fiorentina and AS Roma will be played on Thursday March 19, 2015 (kick-off: 19:00) in Rome.
