Europa League 2014-15 : Sevilla beats Villarreal 3-1

VILLARREAL, Mar. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Sevilla defeated Villarreal by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in the first leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the El Madrigal stadium in Villarreal.

Sevilla dominated the first half thanks to goals from Vitolo ('1) and Mbia ('26). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Sevillistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gameiro in the 50th minute.

The second leg between Villarreal and Sevilla will be played on Thursday March 19, 2015 (kick-off: 19:00) in Seville.
