Europa League 2014-15 : Wolfsburg beats Inter 3-1

WOLFSBURG, Mar. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Wolfsburg defeated Inter Milan by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the first leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the Volkswagen Arena in Wolfsburg.

Kevin De Bruyne scored dual goals

Inter Milan forward Rodrigo Palacio opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Wolfsburg catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Naldo. 1-1 at half time. Die Wölfe eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by De Bruyne ('63, '76).

The second leg between Wolfsburg and Inter Milan will be played on Thursday March 19, 2015 (kick-off: 21:05) in Milan.
