Europa League 2014-15 : Zenit beats Torino 2-0

SAINT PETERSBURG, Mar. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Zenit St Petersburg defeated Torino by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the Petrovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg.

Zenit St Petersburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Witsel in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Blue-White-Sky Blues” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Criscito in the 53rd minute.

The second leg between Zenit St Petersburg and Torino will be played on Thursday March 19, 2015 (kick-off: 21:05) in Turin.
