Dnipro loses to Ajax in extra time but reaches Europa League quarterfinals
AMSTERDAM, Mar. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Ajax defeated Dnipro 2-1 after extra time, in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night.
The score was still 1-0 after the 90 minutes of regulation time, after Bazoer's only goal in the 60th minute, and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. The “Godenzonen” finally broke through with goals from Van Der Hoorn ('117), while Konoplyanka ('97) scored for Dnipro.
