Sevilla beats Villarreal to reach Europa League quarterfinals
SEVILLE, Mar. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Sevilla defeated Villarreal by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Seville.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Iborra ('69) and Suárez ('83).
