Zenit loses to Torino but reaches Europa League quarterfinals
TURIN, Mar. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Torino defeated Zenit St Petersburg by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the Olympic stadium in Turin.
Zenit St Petersburg made Torino doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Polish defender Kamil Glik seconds before the end of regulation.
