Europa League 2014-15 : Torino and Bilbao tied at 2-2

TURIN, Feb. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2014-15 : Torino tied 2-2 with Athletic Bilbao (halftime: 2-1), in the first leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the Olympic stadium in Turin.

Torino players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Lopez ('18, '42) while Athletic Bilbao only scored once Williams ('9). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Athletic Bilbao with a saving goal from Athletic Bilbao midfielder Gurpegi in the 73rd minute.

The second leg between Torino and Athletic Bilbao will be played on Thursday February 26, 2015 (kick-off: 21:05) in Bilbao.
