Europa League 2015-16 : Ajax draw 2-2 with Celtic

AMSTERDAM, Sep. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Ajax tied 2-2 with Celtic (halftime: 1-2), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night.

Celtic players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Bitton ('8) and Lustig ('42) while Ajax only scored once Fischer ('25). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Ajax with a saving goal from Schöne in the 84th minute.

The result left both teams tied in the second place of Group A with one point. In their next game, Celtic will meet Fenerbahce on October 1, while Ajax will face Molde.
