Europa League 2015-16 : Fener beats Ajax 1-0

ISTANBUL, Oct. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Fenerbahce defeated Ajax by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul.

Ajax made Fenerbahce doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Fernandao Jose with one minute left in regular time.

The result put Fener second in Group A with 4 points. Ajax is third with 2 points. In their next game, Fenerbahce will meet third-placed Ajax at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on November 5, while Ajax will face Fenerbahce.
