KAZAN, Nov. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Liverpool defeated Rubin Kazan by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Central Stadium in Kazan.

45 minutes of play and neither Liverpool nor Rubin Kazan have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Liverpool midfielder Jordon Ibe in the 52nd minute.

The result put Liverpool second in Group B with 6 points. Rubin Kazan is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Liverpool will meet third-placed Bordeaux at the Central Stadium on November 26, while Rubin Kazan will face Sion.
