All the action happened in the first half, with goals from James Milner ('38 on penalty) and Christian Benteke ('46).
The result put Liverpool top of Group B with 9 points. Bordeaux is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Liverpool will meet second-placed Sion at Anfield on December 10, while Bordeaux will face Rubin Kazan.
