Europa League 2015-16 : Midtjylland beats Club Brugge 3-1

BRUGES, Oct. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Midtjylland defeated Club Brugge by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Jan Breydel Stadium in Bruges.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Sisto Pione ('51), Onuachu Paul ('67) and Novak Filip ('74).

The result put Midtjylland second in Group D with 6 points. Club Brugge is bottom with no points. In their next game, Midtjylland will meet group leaders Napoli at the Jan Breydel Stadium on October 22, while Club Brugge will face Legia Warsaw.
