Europa League 2015-16 : Napoli beats Legia Warsaw 2-0

WARSAW, Oct. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Napoli defeated Legia Warsaw by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Polish Army Stadium in Warsaw.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Mertens ('53) and Higuaín ('84).

The result put Napoli top of Group D with 6 points. Legia Warsaw is third with no points. In their next game, Napoli will meet second-placed Midtjylland at the Polish Army Stadium on October 22, while Legia Warsaw will face Club Brugge.
