Europa League 2015-16 : Napoli beats Midtjylland 4-1

HERNING, Oct. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Napoli defeated Midtjylland by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the MCH Arena in Herning.

Manolo Gabbiadini scored dual goals

Napoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from Callejon Jose ('19) and Gabbiadini ('31, '40). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Higuaín in stoppage time.

The result put Napoli top of Group D with 9 points. Midtjylland is second with 6 points. In their next game, Napoli will meet second-placed Midtjylland at the MCH Arena on November 5, while Midtjylland will face Napoli.
