Europa League 2015-16 : Napoli beats Midtjylland 5-0

NAPLES, Nov. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Napoli defeated Midtjylland by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples.

Manolo Gabbiadini scored dual goals

Napoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from El Kaddouri Omar ('13) and Gabbiadini ('23, '38). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Maggio '54 and Callejon Jose '77).

The result put Napoli top of Group D with 12 points. Midtjylland is second with 6 points. In their next game, Napoli will meet third-placed Club Brugge at the San Paolo Stadium on November 26, while Midtjylland will face Legia Warsaw.
