VILLARREAL, Oct. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Villarreal defeated Viktoria Plzen by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the El Madrigal stadium in Villarreal.

Viktoria Plzen made Villarreal doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Brazilian forward Baptistao Leonardo in the 54th minute.
