Europa League 2015-16 : Marseille beats Groningen 3-0

GRONINGEN, Sep. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Marseille defeated Groningen by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Euroborg in Groningen.

Marseille dominated the first half thanks to goals from N'Koudou ('25) and Ocampos ('40). Leading 2-0 at the break, Marseille players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Alessandrini in the 61st minute.

The result put Marseille top of Group F with 3 points. In their next game, Marseille will meet third-placed Slovan Liberec at the Euroborg on October 1, while Groningen will face Braga.
