BRAGA, Oct. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Braga defeated Groningen by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Braga Municipal Stadium.

All the action happened in the first half, with Braga striker Hassan Ahmed goal in the 5th minute.

The result put Braga top of Group F with 6 points. Groningen is bottom with no points. In their next game, Braga will meet second-placed Marseille at the Braga Municipal Stadium on October 22, while Groningen will face Slovan Liberec.
