Europa League 2015-16 : Lazio beats Saint-Etienne 3-2

ROME, Oct. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Lazio defeated Saint-Etienne by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Saint-Etienne defender Moustapha Sall opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Lazio catch up in the 22nd minute thanks to Ogenyi Onazi. 1-1 at half time. The Biancocelesti eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Hoedt Wesley ('48) and Biglia ('80).

The result put Lazio top of Group G with 4 points. Saint-Etienne is third with one point. In their next game, Lazio will meet Rosenborg at the Stadio Olimpico on October 22, while Saint-Etienne will face Dnipro.
