Europa League 2015-16 : Lazio beats RBK 3-1

ROME, Oct. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Lazio defeated Rosenborg by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Lazio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Alessandro Matri in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Biancocelesti further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Anderson Felipe '54 and Candreva '79).

The result put Lazio top of Group G with 7 points. RBK is bottom with one point. In their next game, Lazio will meet Rosenborg at the Stadio Olimpico on November 5, while Rosenborg will face Lazio.
