Europa League 2015-16 : Sporting beats Skenderbeu Korce 5-1

LISBON, Oct. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Sporting Lisbon defeated Skenderbeu Korce by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon.

Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Aquilani ('38 on penalty) and Montero Fredy ('41 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Pereira '64, Figueiredo '69 and Pereira Matheus '77).

The result put Sporting third in Group H with 4 points. Skenderbeu Korce is bottom with no points. In their next game, Sporting Lisbon will meet Skenderbeu Korce at the Estádio José Alvalade on November 5, while Skenderbeu Korce will face Sporting Lisbon.
