Europa League 2015-16 : Sporting beats Lokomotiv Moscow 4-2

MOSCOW, Nov. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Sporting Lisbon defeated Lokomotiv Moscow by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 3-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Lokomotiv Stadium in Moscow.

Lokomotiv Moscow opened the score in the score in the 5th minute thanks to Maicon Margues, before Sporting Lisbon regained the advantage with Montero Fredy ('20), Ruiz Bryan ('38) and Martins Gelson ('43). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pereira Matheus in the 60th minute.

The result put Lokomotiv Moscow second in Group H with 8 points. Sporting is third with 7 points. In their last game, Lokomotiv Moscow will meet Skenderbeu Korce at the Lokomotiv Stadium on December 10, while Sporting Lisbon will face Besiktas.
