Europa League 2015-16 : Anderlecht and Monaco tied at 1-1

ANDERLECHT, Sep. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Anderlecht tied 1-1 with Monaco (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in Anderlecht.

Anderlecht players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Anderlecht midfielder Guillaume Gillet in the 11th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Monaco with a saving goal from Ivorian forward Lacina Traoré in the 85th minute.

The result left both teams tied in the second place of Group J with one point. In their next game, Monaco will meet group leaders Tottenham at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium on October 1, while Anderlecht will face Qarabag.
