Europa League 2015-16 : Monaco beats Qarabag 1-0

MONACO, Oct. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Monaco defeated Qarabag by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Stade Louis II in Monaco.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Ivorian forward Lacina Traoré in the 70th minute.

The result put Monaco top of Group J with 5 points. Qarabag is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Monaco will meet Qarabag at the Stade Louis II on November 5, while Qarabag will face Monaco.
