Europa League 2015-16 : Tottenham beats Anderlecht 2-1

LONDON, Nov. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Tottenham defeated Anderlecht by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at White Hart Lane in London.

Tottenham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Harry Kane in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Spurs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dembélé with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Tottenham top of Group J with 7 points. Anderlecht is third with 4 points. In their next game, Tottenham will meet Qarabag at White Hart Lane on November 26, while Anderlecht will face Monaco.
