TRIPOLI, Nov. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Asteras Tripolis defeated APOEL Nicosia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium in Tripoli.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Bertoglio Facundo ('2) and Giannou Apostolos ('46).

The result put Asteras third in Group K with 4 points. APOEL is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Asteras Tripolis will meet second-placed Sparta Prague at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium on November 26, while APOEL Nicosia will face Schalke 04.
