Europa League 2015-16 : Sparta hold Schalke 04 to 1-1

PRAGUE, Nov. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Sparta Prague tied 1-1 with Schalke 04 (halftime: 1-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Generali Arena in Prague.

One goal for both sides in the first half, Lafata David ('6) for Sparta Prague, Geis ('20 on penalty) for Schalke 04 and none in the second.

The result put Schalke 04 top of Group K with 8 points. Sparta is second with 6 points. In their next game, Schalke 04 will meet APOEL Nicosia at the Generali Arena on November 26, while Sparta Prague will face Asteras Tripolis.
