Europa League 2015-16 : Partizan beats Augsburg 3-1

AUGSBURG, Oct. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Partizan Belgrade defeated Augsburg by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the WWK Arena.

Zivkovic Andrija scored dual goals

Partizan Belgrade dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Zivkovic Andrija in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Crno-Beli” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ji Dong-won '54/own and Zivkovic Andrija '62).

The result put Partizan top of Group L with 6 points. Augsburg is bottom with no points. In their next game, Partizan Belgrade will meet second-placed Athletic Bilbao at the WWK Arena on October 22, while Augsburg will face AZ Alkmaar.
