Europa League 2015-16 : Bilbao beats Partizan 2-0

BELGRADE, Oct. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Athletic Bilbao defeated Partizan Belgrade by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the Partizan Stadium in Belgrade.

Athletic Bilbao dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Raúl García in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Leones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Elustondo with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Bilbao top of Group L with 6 points. Partizan is second with 6 points. In their next game, Athletic Bilbao will meet second-placed Partizan Belgrade at the Partizan Stadium on November 5, while Partizan Belgrade will face Athletic Bilbao.
