AUGSBURG, Nov. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Augsburg defeated AZ Alkmaar by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the WWK Arena.

Bobadilla Raul scored tripple goals

Augsburg dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bobadilla Raul ('24, '33). Leading 2-1 at the break, Augsburg players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ji Dong-won '66 and Bobadilla Raul '74).

The result put Augsburg second in Group L with 6 points. AZ is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Augsburg will meet group leaders Athletic Bilbao at the WWK Arena on November 26, while AZ Alkmaar will face Partizan Belgrade.
