Europa League 2015-16 : Bilbao defeats Partizan 5-1

BILBAO, Nov. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Athletic Bilbao defeated Partizan Belgrade by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao.

Iñaki Williams scored dual goals

Athletic Bilbao dominated the first half thanks to goals from Williams ('15, '19) and Etxebarria Benat ('40). Leading 3-1 at the break, Los Leones further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Aduriz '71 and Elustondo '81).

The result put Bilbao top of Group L with 9 points. Partizan is third with 6 points. In their next game, Athletic Bilbao will meet second-placed Augsburg at the San Mamés Stadium on November 26, while Partizan Belgrade will face AZ Alkmaar.
