Europa League 2015-16 : Bilbao defeats Augsburg 3-2

AUGSBURG, Nov. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Athletic Bilbao defeated Augsburg by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a Europa League group stage game on Thursday night at the WWK Arena.

Aritz Aduriz scored dual goals

Athletic Bilbao midfielder Markel Susaeta opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Augsburg catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Piotr Trochowski. 1-1 at half time. Los Leones eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Aduriz ('83, '86).

The result put Bilbao top of Group L with 12 points. Augsburg is third with 6 points. In their last game, Athletic Bilbao will meet AZ Alkmaar at the WWK Arena on December 10, while Augsburg will face Partizan Belgrade.
