Europa League 2015-16 : Villarreal beats Sparta 2-1

VILLARREAL, Apr. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Villarreal defeated Sparta Prague by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the first leg of a quarterfinals on Thursday night at the El Madrigal stadium in Villarreal.

Bakambu Cedric scored dual goals

Bakambu Cedric opened the score in the 3rd minute, before seeing Sparta Prague catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Brabec Jakub. 1-1 at half time. El Submarino Amarillo eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Bakambu Cedric in the 63rd minute.

The second leg between Villarreal and Sparta Prague will be played on Thursday April 14, 2016 (kick-off: 21:05) in Prague.
