Villarreal beats Sparta to advance to Europa League semifinals
PRAGUE, Apr. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Villarreal defeated Sparta Prague by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 3-0), in the second leg of a quarterfinals on Thursday night at the Generali Arena in Prague.
Bakambu Cedric scored dual goals
Villarreal dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bakambu Cedric ('5), Castillejo ('43) and Lafata David ('45 own). Leading 3-0 at the break, El Submarino Amarillo further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Bakambu Cedric in the 49th minute.
