Braga beats Fener to reach Europa League quarterfinals

BRAGA, Mar. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Braga defeated Fenerbahce by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the Braga Municipal Stadium.

Braga forward Hassan Ahmed opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Fenerbahce catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Potuk Alper. 1-1 at half time. The Arcebispos eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Josue Perqueira ('69 on penalty), Stoiljkovic Nikola ('74) and Silva Rafa ('83).
