Dortmund beats Tottenham to reach Europa League quarterfinals
LONDON, Mar. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Borussia Dortmund defeated Tottenham by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at White Hart Lane in London.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored dual goals
Borussia Dortmund dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, BVB further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Aubameyang in the 71st minute.
