Bilbao loses to Valencia but reaches Europa League quarterfinals
VALENCIA, Mar. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Valencia defeated Athletic Bilbao by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Thursday night at the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia.
Valencia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mina Santi ('13) and Santos Aderllan ('37). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Che further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
