Europa League 2015-16 : Fener defeats Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0

ISTANBUL, Feb. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Fenerbahce defeated Lokomotiv Moscow by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a round of 32 game on Tuesday night at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul.

Souza Josef scored dual goals

Fenerbahce dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Souza Josef in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Canaries” further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Souza Josef in the 72nd minute.

The second leg between Fenerbahce and Lokomotiv Moscow will be played on Thursday February 25, 2016 (kick-off: 17:00) in Moscow.
