Europa League 2015-16 : Braga held to a 2-2 draw by Sion but qualifies for the Round of 16
BRAGA, Feb. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Braga tied 2-2 with Sion (halftime: 1-2), in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Wednesday night at the Braga Municipal Stadium.
Sion players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Gekas Fanis ('16, '29) while Braga only scored once Josue Perqueira ('27 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Braga with a saving goal from Stoiljkovic Nikola in the 48th minute.
