Europa League 2015-16 : Bayer beats Sporting 3-1 to qualify for the Round of 16

LEVERKUSEN, Feb. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Europa League 2015-16 : Bayer Leverkusen defeated Sporting Lisbon by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the second leg of a round of 32 game on Thursday night at the BayArena in Leverkusen.

Karim Bellarabi scored dual goals

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Karim Bellarabi opened the score in the 30th minute, before seeing Sporting Lisbon catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Mario Joao. 1-1 at half time. Bayer Leverkusen eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Bellarabi ('65) and Çalhanoğlu ('87).
